Stephanie Mormilo, P.E.: Stephanie is a civil engineer working at HDL Engineering Consultants, LLC.. She started her career at DOWL Engineers then worked as the Municipal Traffic Engineer for nine years before coming back to consulting. In 2004, she graduated from UAA with her BS in Civil Engineering. She has served as every member of the board multiple times (except for treasurer) and received her 20 year pin from SWE this year! Cindy Notti, P.E.: Cindy is a registered mechanical engineer working as a Technical Services Manager for NANAWorley. She graduated from University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and then started her career at The Superior Group before transitioning to Oil/Gas. For the past 10+ years she’s been working under a design contract for ConocoPhillips, mostly acting as a project manager and design supervisor. She has been active with SWE since college; involved with outreach, scholarships, website development and now serving as treasurer.

Melissa Branch, P.E.: Melissa is the owner of Big City Engineers and practices as a civil engineer. Melissa is responsible for maintaining fundraising contacts and encouraging giving. You can contact her by email.

Christina Golden, E.I.T.: Christina is a Civil Engineer who graduated from UAA in 2020 and is working at GV Jones & Associates, Inc. She works on water and wastewater design and construction projects across Alaska. Christina has been active in SWE since 2017 and served as the UAA SWE President.
Outreach Chair
Andrea Hulman-Watsjold, P.E.: Andrea is an Electrical Engineer working for Pacific Dataport. She previously worked for Kuna Engineering and GCI. In 2012, she graduated from Scripps College with a BA in Physics. In 2015, she graduated from UAA with a BS in Electrical Engineering. She served as president of the student SWE chapter at UAA from 2013 to 2015 and revived it after being defunct for several years. She thinks photons are cool and enjoys outreach with students of all ages, including explaining to her nieces that she does not work on a train, and in fact bounces the internet off of things in space. Paloma Hawn, E.I.T.: Paloma Hawn is a Telecommunications Engineering Director at GCI who graduated from UAA with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 2013. She enjoys managing teams working on large-scale projects, spreading the word about SWE, spending time with family, and “nerding out” about technology
